Last updated: 22/08/2026
These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through the Arcaico Instruments website at https://www.arcaico.eu.
By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
- About Arcaico Instruments

- Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs and other information published on the website are accurate and up to date.
Our products may be produced in limited quantities or in small production batches. Availability may therefore vary.
Minor variations in appearance, finish or production details may occur where they do not affect the conformity or functionality of the product.
- Prices
All prices displayed on the website are expressed in euros unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be displayed during the purchasing process as required by applicable law.
Arcaico reserves the right to correct obvious pricing, technical or typographical errors before an order is accepted.
- Orders and Order Acceptance
By completing the checkout process, the customer submits an order to purchase the selected product or products.
An order is accepted when Arcaico confirms the order and the payment has been successfully processed, subject to availability and applicable law.
Arcaico reserves the right to cancel an order where there are legitimate reasons to do so, including obvious pricing errors, product unavailability, payment problems, suspected fraudulent activity or technical errors.
If an order is cancelled by Arcaico after payment has been received, any amount due to the customer will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.
- Customer-Initiated Cancellation Before Shipment
Customers who wish to cancel an order before shipment should contact support@arcaico.eu as soon as possible.
Where an order is cancelled at the customer’s request before shipment and the cancellation does not constitute the exercise of a mandatory statutory consumer right, any refund will be processed using the original payment method.
Where the payment provider has already processed the transaction and fees paid by Arcaico are not recoverable, such payment-processing costs may be deducted from a refund only where this is legally permitted and the customer was informed of the applicable condition before placing the order.
This provision does not limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights or statutory right of withdrawal.
- Payment
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods made available during checkout.
Payments are processed through the payment providers displayed on the website, including PayPal and the payment methods made available through PayPal Payments.
Arcaico does not normally have access to the customer’s full payment card details.
- Shipping and Delivery
Products are shipped to the destinations and under the conditions described during checkout and in the applicable shipping information.
Estimated delivery times are indicative unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
Where a product is unavailable but can be ordered on backorder, the applicable availability information will be displayed or communicated to the customer.
- Returns and Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
Where applicable, consumers retain all statutory rights relating to distance contracts, withdrawal, conformity of goods, warranties and refunds.
- Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to consumers.
For new goods sold to consumers in Italy, the legal guarantee generally lasts two years from delivery. Where a lack of conformity exists, the consumer may have the right to repair or replacement and, where the legal requirements are met, a proportional price reduction or termination of the contract.
- Repairs and Products Sent to Arcaico
Where a product is sent to Arcaico for repair, inspection or technical assessment, the customer should use an appropriate, trackable and adequately insured shipping service.
Unless Arcaico has expressly arranged or paid for the return shipment, the customer is responsible for selecting and instructing the carrier and for retaining proof of shipment and tracking information.
If a product independently shipped by the customer is lost, stolen or damaged by the carrier before it is delivered to Arcaico, Arcaico cannot be considered to have received the product and is not responsible for the loss caused by that shipment.
In such circumstances, Arcaico will provide reasonable assistance and, where appropriate, the customer should pursue a claim with the carrier or shipping insurer.
Any liability of Arcaico relating to the product itself remains subject to the applicable agreement, warranty conditions and mandatory law.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits mandatory statutory rights.
- Personalised and Collaboration Products
Certain products may be developed as Signature Editions, special editions or collaboration products.
Where a product is individually personalised or manufactured according to specific requirements, any applicable statutory exceptions to cancellation or withdrawal will be communicated before purchase.
Nothing in this section excludes mandatory consumer rights.
- Product Use and Safety
Products must be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with the documentation supplied with the product.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the equipment, power supply, installation environment and accessories used with the product are suitable and safe.
Unauthorised modifications, misuse, improper installation or use contrary to the product documentation may affect applicable warranty rights, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
- Intellectual Property
All content published on the Arcaico Instruments website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, product names, videos, illustrations, designs and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated.
No website content may be reproduced, distributed, modified or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
- Website Availability
Arcaico makes reasonable efforts to keep the website available and accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may temporarily modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the website when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, development or operational reasons.
- Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Arcaico Instruments Privacy Policy.
- Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated when necessary, including as a result of changes to our products, services, website functionality or applicable legal requirements.
The version applicable to an order is the version in force when the order is placed.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the customer’s country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
